I call this Cowboy bunkhouse art.  It is a hand-made jewelry box with the Cowboy's sweetheart's name on the lid, "CELIA MAY".  It features a carved Cowgirl in a short dress and wearing cowboy boots and hat.  She has an axe in hand and has been chopping wood.  The cowgirl figure and the box bottom appear to be made from a piece of barn wood or fence board.  The overall height is 9 1/2".  Unique, one of a kind collectible.
