THEODORE, (TEDDY), ROOSEVELT CLOCK: Dressed in his ROUGH RIDER uniform. Patent date on back of clock mechanism is 1902. Cast metal, bronzed Teddy also has a patent date on the back but it is unreadable. This clock from the early 1900's is one of the many patriotic items produced after the Spanish-American War of 1898. This clock has no damage and has not been cleaned, retaining all of the nice dark patina. I wound it this morning and set it at 9:00AM. It is now 4:30PM and for 7 1/2 hours it has been running and keeping accurate time. I do not think it will stop until it needs winding again. All original. Unpackaged weight is 3.9 pounds.
