GAR 1892 Souvenir Cane: This cane was a souvenir from the 26th encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic held September 20, 1892 in Washington, D.C. It is black painted wood shaft with a white metal handle and tip. On the butt of the handle is a likeness of General Grant. On one side of the handle is the GAR membership badge and above it is the patent date of the cane; Aug. 23, '92. On the other side of the handle is the information about the encampment. The tip on this rattles and is loose but it doesn't come off. It probably had a rubber cover on it originally to prevent slippage when used as a cane..

SOUVENIR FROM MISSOURI: Medal that has SOUVENIR on the pin piece and a pendant of the GREAT SEAL of the STATE of MISSOURI. It is of the type seen circa 1880-WW1. It doesn't say so but I speculate this was a souvenir purchased at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition (St. Louis World's Fair, 1904). Pretty good displayable condition although the pin piece has separated from the ribbon. Would need a stitch or two to reattach it if desired. For display it looks ok just laying in place.
